How do I pay for the service?
In the app, with PIX, credit card, debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. You pay when you book.
Can I pay in cash?
No. Every payment happens in the app. This protects you and the professional and keeps everything on record.
When does the professional get paid?
The platform holds the amount. When the service is finished and confirmed, DayWork pays the professional. If you do not confirm within 2 hours, the service is confirmed automatically, and you can still open a dispute within 24 hours.
Can I cancel a service?
Yes. The earlier you cancel, the bigger the refund: with enough notice, canceling is free.
What if the professional does not show up?
You choose between finding another available professional or getting a full refund. The professional who misses the service gets a penalty.
How do I know the professional can be trusted?
Every professional sends documents and goes through a criminal background check before taking a job. Verified profiles show the Verified badge, along with reviews from people who already booked them.
Can I arrange the service on WhatsApp?
No. All conversation between you and the professional happens in the app chat, from acceptance until 2 hours after the service. The history is kept for auditing and to resolve disputes.
Where does DayWork operate?
We are starting in Sinop, in Mato Grosso, Brazil. Prices are set by category and by city or region.
I need an urgent service. What do I do?
Use Emergency (SOS) mode. The professional arrives in 30 to 40 minutes, and the service costs more than the regular price.
